- We recommend you wear walking boots with a good grip and solid support for your ankles.
- Waterproofs and warm clothing are recommended in winter months.
- Sun cream, a sunhat and sunglasses are recommended on summer days.
- Some people may benefit from using walking poles.
- Take extra care in icy or muddy conditions.
- A bottle or water, a snack, insect repellent, spare suncream to reapply, plasters, antiseptic cream, antibacterial gel and wet wipes are all useful items to add to your backpack.

Dog Policy
- We welcome dog owners and their furry friends on our walks.
- Some walkers may be nervous of dogs, so we ask you to please be aware that not everyone will welcome your dog approaching them.
- If you feel that somebody else’s dog is bothering you, please have a polite word with the owner to make them aware of this.
- Dogs can cause severe distress or harm to sheep, so please keep dogs on a lead around sheep. More details.
