The Old Boot Inn, Seaford. In the unlikely event this venue is closed on the night, we will move to The Old Plough round the corner.

Sunday 30th August 2026: The Quicker, Flatter, Wetter Upper Dicker Walk

Description
From the starting point we pass behind Michelham Priory, through Bramble Grove and Wilmington Wood to Caneheath.  We then head via Beacon’s Wood and Park Wood back to Upper Dicker for refreshments in The Plough.

The weather looks wet and it is likely to be muddy in places, so please bring suitable waterproofs & footwear.

Meet outside of the Village Shop, which is found past the Dicker Hole at the end of a private road on the right-hand side when heading north up Coldharbour Road.

Sunday 13th September 2026: Adventuring Around Alfriston

Description:

We head up from Alfriston onto the South Downs Way, then head south-east towards Seaford, before circling back towards our starting point. Refreshments in a local hostelry in Alfriston.
