Our regular Seaford social on the first Tuesday of the month for a drink and a natter.

Sunday 23rd March 2025: The March Hare Walk

The March Hare Walk will take place at 2pm on Sunday 23rd March, led by Andrew.

Description:

We head from the back of Peacehaven through Telscombe Village through the scenic Downs to Rodmell, where we will stop for refreshments at the Abergavenny Arms. Then we head via Southease to walk the along the riverbank of the Ouse as far as Piddinghoe. From there we head up through the Downs to return to our starting point.

Sunday 16th February 2025: Winter Wildlife Walk

The Winter Wildlife Walk will take place at 1.30pm on Sunday 16th February, led by Gary.

Description:

We will walk up towards Mount Caburn, explore the ancient ruins of the settlement up there, then down into the valley and up the other side past ‘Bible Bottom’ and towards the view inland towards Ringmer, then south again to then walk back down into Glynde past Glynde Place. The walk is 5 miles and includes one long moderately steep climb and then another not so long moderate climb. We may be able to have Tea at the Little Cottage Tea Room, but depends on time of our return and how many of us there are.
