Sunday 13th September 2026: Adventuring Around Alfriston

By joining a GAYSWAG walk, you agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions and to read & adhere to our safety advice.

Description
For anyone not having visited Berwick church before, there are famous frescoes painted by the Bloomsbury Group which are worth a look. We will walk towards the South Downs Way (steep climb) and head down into a valley to approach Alfriston from the south. We may be able to grab some tea and cake here, but we will definitely have time at the end of the walk for a drink at the Cricketers Arms.
