Description:
From East Dean we head along Went Way to the cliffs at Birling Gap, then up past the Belle Tout lighthouse to Beachy Head. We return to East Dean across the countryside inland, ending with refreshments at the Tiger Inn.

Car – park in the village car park or along Gilbert’s Drive.
Bus – 12 / 12A / 13 to the bus stop at the centre of East Dean, then a short walk to the starting point.
